| To the southwest of Arno's marker, 200 yards to the left of Pocantico Avenue, is the memorial to another talented illustrator, William Wallace Denslow. This flat, granite memorial cannot be seen from a car. In pictures as well as in words, Denslow's headstone defines his fame as the original illustrator of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. |
