| Take a self-guided two mile "Tree Walk" of Kensico by following a descriptive fold-out map available at the Administration Building. Ornamental and rare trees have been marked with black vinyl labels for easy identification. Tree specimens include magnolia, birch, juniper, sassafras, grand fir and the official tree of New York State--the sugar maple. The self-guided tour can be taken by car or by foot at any time of the year. The free "Tree Walk" map provides the location and a brief description of all the labeled trees on the property. |
