Invasive Species Walk

Loading Events

Explore the impacts of invasive species on the landscape of Westchester County.

Join us for a guided walking tour with David Prosser, Land Steward of Pound Ridge Land Conservancy, through the cemetery grounds to learn how invasive plants, insects, and more affect the health and stability of flora and fauna in natural and cultivated landscapes. Discover how invasive species spread, the damage they cause, and what can be done to mitigate their impact.

Along the way, we’ll highlight real examples on the grounds and discuss practical strategies for identifying and managing invasive threats.

This is a free outdoor event! Weather permitting.

Registration is required. Please RSVP below.
